What is an independent trader?
The independent trader is a worker specialized in the purchase and sale of financial products.
As his name suggests, he does not have an employer and therefore benefits from independent status.
The independent trader should not, however, be confused with the own account trader.
Indeed, an independent trader can absolutely choose to exercise the profession of trader on his own account by managing his personal capital himself in order to make them grow, but he can also choose to exercise the profession of flow trader, that is, buying and selling financial products to meet the demands of its customers.

REMUNERATION OF THE INDEPENDENT TRADER
What is the Trader's remuneration?
In all cases, the trader's remuneration must be specified in the management mandate contract.
However, and generally, the trader is remunerated by management commissions which may include a variable part linked to:
• The performance of the portfolio in relation to the management objective;
• Transaction fees which consist of brokerage fees received;
• A movement fee charged for each transaction.
The periodic investment statement must mention the distribution of the movement commission between the different parties. This is in percentage.
